Born in Switzerland (raised in Winterthur/Lausanne), Mirjam Rast began as a stuntwoman/dancer. After acting studies in Zurich, she was engaged at Theater Bremen (2017–2022), working with Pınar Karabulut and Andreas Kriegenburg. She won the 2019 Armin Ziegler Förderpreis. Trained in singing and Argentine tango, she freelanced from 2022 (guest appearances at Deutsches Theater Berlin/Stadttheater Gießen). She returned to Swiss stages in Geneva (2023) and joins Schauspielhaus Zürich permanently in 2025/26.
