Born in Rosenheim in 1995, Verena Jost grew up in Rhineland-Palatinate and Hamburg. She studied acting in Hannover (2017–2021), guest-performing at Schauspiel Hannover and Staatstheater Braunschweig. Post-graduation, she guest-performed in Hamburg, Rostock, Graz, and Nationaltheater Mannheim (e.g., as Marie in «Woyzeck»). She holds a Master’s in Gender Studies (Humboldt University) and works in film/TV and voice acting.
She joins the Schauspielhaus Zürich ensemble in 2025/26.
