
Laina Schwarz, born in Düsseldorf, studied acting at the University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Engagements have taken her to the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Bremerhaven, Bremen, Chemnitz, the Nibelungen Festival in Worms, the Münchner Volkstheater, the Staatstheater Stuttgart, HAU Berlin, and from 2012 to 2017, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. She has collaborated with directors such as Pınar Karabulut, Joanna Praml, Robert Lehniger, Nino Haratischwili, Nuran David Calis, and Adrian Figueroa. Since 2017, she has worked as a freelance actress in film, television, and theater. Most recently, Laina Schwarz has appeared in the crime series Marie Brand, the Cologne Tatort, and the crime series Der Staatsanwalt.
