Born in Bad Mergentheim in 1992, Edith Saldanha studied politics/sociology/art education before acting training at the Mozarteum Salzburg. She was a fixed ensemble member at Münchner Kammerspiele (2020–2024), performing in productions invited to Theatertreffen (e.g., «Like Lovers Do», dir. Pınar Karabulut). She also works in independent theater, film/TV («Helgoland 513», «Biohackers»), and radio.
She joins Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2025/26.
