Born in Wiesbaden in 1998, David Rothe gained early stage experience at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. He studied acting in Berlin (2019–2023) and worked at Stadttheater Solothurn (2022/23). He performs in Oliver Frljić’s «Alice im Wunderland» at Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and was part of the ensemble at Schauspiel Köln (2024/25). He joins the Schauspielhaus Zürich ensemble in 2025/26.
