Born in Munich, Simon Kirsch trained at the Otto Falckenberg Schule. He guest-performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele and won the 2008 O.E. Hasse Prize. After fixed engagements at the Wiener Burgtheater and Schauspiel Köln, he has freelanced since 2020. Collaborations include Pınar Karabulut and Rafael Sanchez at venues like Schauspielhaus Zürich and Theater Basel. He was nominated for the 2024 Nestroy Theatre Prize and appears in TV/film (e.g., "WARUM ICH?"). He joins the Schauspielhaus Zürich ensemble in 2025/26.
