
Steven Adjei Sowah, born in Hamburg, gained his first acting experience as a child in productions at the Malersaal of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and in the musical The Lion King. After studying law in Birmingham and Oxford, he went on to study acting at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam. In 2019, he joined the Schauspielhaus Zürich for his first engagement, where he has been part of the ensemble ever since. There, he has worked with directors such as Anne Lenk, Nicolas Stemann, Jan Bosse, Wu Tsang, and Christopher Rüping. Steven Adjei Sowah regularly appears in various film and television productions, including the feature film Noah and the ARD series A Better Place. In 2020, he received the Götz George Young Talent Award for his performance in the short film Dreck.
