Lena Schwarz

Lena Schwarz, born in Stuttgart, was an ensemble member at the Schauspielhaus Bochum from 2000 to 2006 after completing her acting studies at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. There, she worked with directors such as Jürgen Kruse, Lisa Nielebock, and Jürgen Gosch. She is a co-founder of the off-venue ROTTSTR5 in Bochum and, starting in 2007, performed as a freelance actress in Bochum, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, and Hamburg.

From 2010 to 2012, she was engaged at the Schauspiel Köln, where she collaborated with director Karin Henkel on productions including The Cherry Orchard and The Rats, both of which were invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen. Since the 2013/2014 season, Lena Schwarz has been an ensemble member at the Schauspielhaus Zürich. Her notable performances there include Karin Henkel's productions of Elektra (2013), Amphitryon and His Double, The Ten Commandments (2015), and BEUTE FRAUEN KRIEG (2017), which was invited to the Theatertreffen in 2018.
