Born in Aufsess in 1963, Matthias Neukirch trained at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Engagements include Theater Neumarkt Zürich, Staatstheater Kassel, and Deutsches Theater Berlin (collaborations: Jossi Wieler, Jürgen Gosch). At Schauspielhaus Zürich since 2015, he has worked with Bastian Kraft and Christopher Rüping.
He has been performing Hans Schleif (dir. Julian Klein) in Zurich for more than ten years.
