For many years, Co-Artistic Director Rafael Sanchez and ensemble member Mike Müller have shared a close working relationship: Müller writes and acts, Sanchez directs. Three brilliant productions from recent seasons, which premiered at the Casinotheater Winterthur, will now find a new home at the Schauspielhaus.
Raoul Furrler is the mayor, or rather: he was. How it came to this and who played a role in it all is told in HEUTE GEMEINDEVERSAMMLUNG (TOWN HALL MEETING TODAY). In this comedy, seemingly cozy local politics simmers on the back burner. But here, things turn out to be much more heated than they initially seemed. Spiced with many public comments and an increasingly agitated mayor, the meeting slowly boils over.
