For many years, Co-Artistic Director Rafael Sanchez and ensemble member Mike Müller have shared a close working relationship: Müller writes and acts, Sanchez directs. Three brilliant productions from recent seasons, which premiered at the Casinotheater Winterthur, will now find a new home at the Schauspielhaus.
ERBSACHE (THE INHERITANCE) brings ruthless negotiations to the stage: a strict judge, two ambitious lawyers, and three feuding siblings are tasked with dividing the estate of a deceased person. Different interpretations of the will are debated, the sense and nonsense of inheriting are discussed, and family feuds are played out until, in a turbulent finale, everyone is tearing their hair out.
